Job summary

Empiric is seeking a hands-on QA Lead to manage quality engineering for a large-scale Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform. Based in Mexico, you will lead functional, automation, integration and performance testing, develop Playwright/TypeScript automation, oversee JMeter testing, and coordinate a distributed QA team with engineering and product stakeholders.

Start date is 15 November 2026, with a 12-month initial contract and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Strong e-commerce QA experience with hands-on leadership.
• SFCC or comparable enterprise commerce platform experience.
• Experience with API testing, CI/CD and Agile delivery.
• 8–12 years in QA with at least 3 years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional, automation, integration and performance testing.
• Develop and improve Playwright/TypeScript automation.
• Oversee JMeter testing, defect management and release readiness.
• Coordinate a distributed QA team and work closely with engineering and product stakeholders.
• Lead knowledge transfer and support scheduled production releases, including releases beginning at 10pm Central Time.
