Formación

About the role of Server Assistant:

The Server Assistant supports servers and the overall dining experience by maintaining cleanliness, assisting in food delivery, refilling beverages, and resetting tables. This role is essential to ensure efficient service and a welcoming environment for guests.

What you will do:

  • Assist servers in providing prompt and efficient service to guests.
  • Clear used plates, glassware, and utensils from tables.
  • Clean and reset tables quickly and properly for incoming guests.
  • Refill water, beverages, and bread as needed.
  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests when required.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, server stations, and restrooms.
  • Assist in stocking and replenishing supplies (napkins, silverware, condiments).
  • Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines.

What you bring:

  • Fluency in Spanish and English is required for this position
  • A minimum of one (1) year working in a Food & Beverage position
  • Two (2)+ years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset
  • Requires knowledge of the ability to operate computer equipment
  • Knowledge in Micros system
  • Understand and familiar with quality standards and service standards of the hotel
  • Highest level of integrity and transparency
  • Apply an ethical approach to the outcome of situations
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Reasonable problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Work in a safe, prudent, and organized manner
