Brose Group is seeking an experienced Welding Engineer in Mexico to develop, optimize and troubleshoot Laser Welding, GMAW and Projection Welding. You will lead root-cause analysis and support design reviews for manufacturability, quality and cost reduction.

The role requires 8+ years in automotive welding engineering, expert ABB robotic welding, GD&T, FMEA and DOE, and strong English communication. A modern work environment and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Formación

• Bachelor degree in Welding, Robotics/Automation, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8+ years of experience in welding engineering within the automotive industry, desirable in welded seat structures.
• Strong technical expertise in Laser Welding, GMAW, and Projection Welding processes and applications.
• Proven experience with robotic welding systems, including programming, troubleshooting, and optimization of ABB robots - mandatory to be considered.
• Advanced knowledge of GD&T, Capability studies, FMEA and DOE.
• Decision Making, Time Management and Problem-Solving skills
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot welding processes including Laser Welding, GMAW, Projection Welding.
• Conduct root cause analysis to resolve process and equipment issues to meet capability studies.
• Support equipment/fixtures design reviews, build activities, runoffs, FAT/SAT, installation and production launch.
• Provide support in design reviews ensuring manufacturability through GD&T knowledge.
• Participate in supplier technical reviews and evaluate equipment concepts and solutions.
• Track project timing, risks, issues, and corrective actions.
• Prepare clear technical reports and management presentations summarizing status and countermeasures.
