Amber Studio is seeking a Senior Game Economy Designer to influence multiple projects, spanning various genres and platforms. You will craft deep in-game economies and mentor the next generation of game economists, driving engagement and value across our portfolio.

You will collaborate with designers, artists, and engineers to turn ideas into playable systems, leveraging data and metrics to refine balance and monetization strategies. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years relevant experience in game economy design.
• Expert knowledge of free-to-play economy and monetization fundamentals.
• Advanced understanding of game metrics and KPIs.
• Proven mentoring experience with junior team members.
• Proficient English in speaking and writing; strong visuals.
• Extensive experience using economy design tools like Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead economy design across multiple world-class game projects.
• Design meta-game systems and monetization mechanics.
• Model, test, and measure to refine economies.
• Collaborate with game designers, artists, and programmers to implement ideas.
• Mentor teammates and provide constructive feedback.
