Nubank in Mexico City is seeking a treasury professional to manage liquidity and optimize investments within approved risk limits. You will collaborate with finance, risk, and operations to drive new capabilities and bank-specific products.

The role requires cash management experience in financial institutions, knowledge of Mexican regulation and AMIB certification, with hybrid work 2-3 days in the office.

Formación

• Cash management experience in financial institutions.
• Knowledge of Mexican banking regulation and treasury instruments.
• Understanding of front office vs back office responsibilities.
• AMIB certification level 3 or 5 or willingness to obtain.
• Strategic thinking to propose improvements and new capabilities.

Responsabilidades

• Invest bank liquidity within approved risk limits and instruments.
• Monitor VaR, LCR, NSFR liquidity metrics and trends.
• Manage bank relationships and negotiate rates/terms.
• Oversee repo investments and account holdings.
• Execute FX purchases from operations teams’ orders.
• Participate in Banco de México bond auctions and related actions.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, and operations to build capabilities.
• Utilize ACLME and AI tools to streamline treasury processes.
