Whirlpool Corporation in Mexico is seeking an experienced Tooling Engineer to define and manage stamping tooling for new appliance products. You will work with Product Engineering, Project Management and Procurement to forecast capital purchases and optimize tooling cost and performance.

You will lead tool supplier evaluations, ensure tooling designs meet specifications, and drive projects to successful startup while maintaining strong cross-functional collaboration.

Formación

• BSME / BSMET or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 5 years designing stamping tooling.
• Experience with tooling maintenance and preventive plans.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge is preferred.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Lead stamping tooling projects from concept through delivery.
• Coordinate RFQs and select tooling suppliers and quotes.
• Translate GD&T and component specs into tooling designs.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering and Quality teams.
• Develop capital investment plans and cost-down opportunities.
