Job summary

Bosch México in Chihuahua is seeking a Testing Engineer to define equipment and processes, support machine acquisition, installation and validation in production.

You will develop procedures, train technicians, and establish corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance; participate in new product and process introductions, ensure compliance with Bosch and customer standards, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechatronics, Electronics, Systems) required.
• 3-5 years testing engineer experience.
• Strong electronics knowledge (Analog/Digital).
• Programming knowledge: C, C++, VB or Delphi.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team.
• Experience with Electronic manufacturing Test Equipment (ICT, Flash, Functional test, etc.).
• Familiarity with Automotive standards: IATF, APQP, PPAP, MSA.
• Industry 4.0 and IoT knowledge.
• Knowledge of IT components, data security and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Define equipment and process, support machine acquisition, install and validate in production.
• Develop procedures and work instructions.
• Train technicians, theory and practical.
• Define corrective, preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.
• Track KPI’s to identify areas of improvement and monitor upgrades.
• Solve problems related to manufacturing processes.
• Participate in new project introductions: process definition, transfer, acceptance and validation.
• Ensure release and installation standards per Bosch and customer specs.
• Meet APQP requirements: EWAK runs, Pre-PV’s PV, and SOP.
• Lead problem solving and continuous improvement in area KPI.
• Comply with TPM activities and machine availability targets.
