Job summary

Luxoft is seeking a Software Test Engineer for an ADAS project. The role is based at the customer's facilities and requires hands-on ECU bench and smoke testing along with test automation using Python in Linux environments.

You will document results, analyze failures, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure robust release quality for ADAS and LIDAR applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, CS, Mechatronics or equivalent.
• At least 3 years in software development or test automation.
• Proficiency in Python (3+ years) and Linux environments.
• Experience with Git or similar changemanagement tools and Agile methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECU bench and smoke testing for software releases.
• Document test results and issues found.
• Analyze, document, and debug test failures.
• Test and validate control systems for ADAS / LIDAR applications.
• Update test cases per change requests.
• Review reports, provide technical judgment, and update docs.

This is an ADAS project for an International OEM company. Luxoft collaborates with the customer in the algorithm testing of different features, such as Vision algorithms and Localization.The test team is in charge of developing and executing the test strategy. The client provides all requirements directly.We are looking for an experienced Software Test Engineer who will be located at the customer's facilities. Responsibilities

• Perform ECU bench and smoke testing for the software releases
• Document the test results and software issues that came along.
• Analyze, document, and debug test failures
• Test and validate control systems for ADAS / laser scanner / LIDAR applications
• Update test cases according to the change request.
• Review test reports, analyze test results, provide technical judgment, and update the Test documentation.
• Coordinate with project management, SW development, and integration teams

SKILLS

Must have

• - Bachelor's Degree in e.g. Electronics, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent- At least 3 years of proven experience in the Software Development or Test Automation field- Proficiency in Python (min. 3 years)- Experience with Git/Github or any other command-based Change Management Tool- Experience working in LINUX based environments- Experience with concepts of Software Testing- Experience with Agile Methodologies- Fluent English level- Excellent communication skills (customer-oriented)- Good attitude to work in a diverse team. Willing to help others.

Nice to have
