Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer for an ADAS project located at Customer facilities in Mexico. You will join an international team testing Vision algorithms, Localization, and related features, contributing to test strategy and quality assurance.

Responsibilities include ECU bench and smoke testing, documenting results, analyzing failures, and collaborating with SW development and integration teams. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer science, or similar.
• Experience in software and software integration testing of embedded systems.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive ECU testing and validation (including Manual Testing).
• Strong knowledge of Automotive industry communication Protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN).
• Advanced experience with automotive simulation and calibration tools (CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer).
• Solid experience with CAPL development scripts.
• High understanding of SW testing and Systems testing.
• Excellent English language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Proactive and collaborative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECU bench and smoke testing for the software releases.
• Document test results and software issues.
• Analyze, document, and debug test failures.
• Test and validate control systems for ADAS / laser scanner / LIDAR applications.
• Update test cases according to change requests.
• Review test reports, analyze results, provide technical judgment, and update documentation.
• Coordinate with project management, SW development, and integration teams.
