Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer for an ADAS project located at customer facilities in Mexico. You will join a highly skilled international team testing Vision algorithms, localization components, and ADAS software, contributing to test strategy, execution, and validation.

The role requires 3+ years in automotive ECU testing, strong CAN/CAN FD/LIN knowledge, and hands-on use of CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer, and CAPL scripts.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in mechatronics, electronics, computer science or similar.
• Experience in software and software integration testing of embedded systems.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in automotive ECU testing and validation (including manual testing).
• Strong knowledge of automotive industry communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN).
• Advanced experience with automotive simulation and calibration tools (Vector CANoe, CANape, CANalyzer).
• Solid experience with CAPL development scripts.
• High understanding of software and systems testing.
• Strong problem-solving skills and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECU bench and SMOKE testing for software releases.
• Document test results and software issues.
• Analyze, document, and debug test failures.
• Test and validate control systems for ADAS, laser scanner, and LIDAR applications.
• Update test cases according to change requests.
• Review test reports, analyze results, and update test documentation.
• Coordinate with project management, software development, and integration teams.

• This is an ADAS project for an International OEM company. Luxoft collaborates with the customer in the algorithm testing of different features, such as Vision algorithms and Localization.
• The test team is in charge of developing and executing the test strategy. The client provides all requirements directly.

Responsibilities:

• Perform ECU bench and smoke testing for the software releases
• Document the test results and software issues that came along.
• Analyze, document, and debug test failures
• Test and validate control systems for ADAS / laser scanner / LIDAR applications
• Update test cases according to the change request.
• Review test reports, analyze test results, provide technical judgment, and update the Test documentation.
• Coordinate with project management, SW development, and integration teams

Mandatory Skills Description:

• Engineering Degree in Mechatronics, Electronics Computer science, or similar
