LyondellBasell Industries in San Luis Potosí is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to provide focused technical support on processing and performance of supplied products, develop new applications with plastic compounds, and coordinate with customers and internal teams.

The role requires extensive travel, up to 50%+, collaboration with Sales, New Business Development, and TDE, and applying injection molding expertise to optimize processes, design parts, and deliver value to customers.

Formación

• Minimum 8+ years in a technical environment such as R&D, Manufacturing, Application Development, Plastic Processing.
• Proven experience in process and troubleshooting methods in plastic injection molding.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and manage customer scheduling.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical service to customers regarding processing and performance of plastic compounds.
• Collaborate with Sales, New Business Development, and TDE to support projects.
• Assist in process optimization, part design, shrinkage estimations, and mold filling analyses.
• Travel to customer sites, often exceeding 50% of the time.
