Kitsch is seeking a Senior Technical Designer to own technical execution for the hair accessories category and serve as the production backbone of our Art department. You will manage tech packs, vendor communications, and commercial presentations, ensuring on-brand, production-ready output across markets.

This senior role requires leadership, deep materials/finish knowledge, and a track record of scaling systems and templates to keep the team efficient while delivering premium, accurate results.

Formación

• 5+ years of technical design experience in consumer products.
• Master-level tech pack and spec sheet creation; knowledge of materials, construction, finishes, and LAB color values.
• Proven track record of managing overseas factory and vendor relationships.
• Experience owning commercial presentation design — line sheets, sell-in decks, or newness decks that are both visually elevated and technically accurate.
• Strong systems thinker with templates, libraries, or processes that improved team efficiency.
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and the full Adobe Creative Suite; familiarity with Asana.
• Hair accessories category experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Technical Production & Accuracy: Own tech packs and spec sheets for the hair accessories category from initial brief through production-ready approval, with ≥99% accuracy.
• Anticipate print, material, and construction limitations before sampling, and communicate them clearly to the team.
• Lead resolution of complex production challenges and serve as the technical authority when issues arise with vendors or factories.
• Ensure all CADs, dielines, line sheets, and spec systems reflect current brand guidelines with zero brand-related corrections at the factory.
• Lead technical conversations with overseas factories and vendors, manage feedback loops, resolve issues, and protect quality and timelines.
• Translate complex technical information into clear direction for non-technical partners in Product Development, Marketing, and Sales.
• Partner with Product Development on materials and finishes refinement to support premium product perception and consumer satisfaction.
• Own and continuously improve technical templates, file libraries, and production standards.
• Establish and maintain clean file organization and version control systems that scale with the team.
• Identify process gaps and implement improvements that make the department faster and more consistent.
• Produce quarterly line sheets and newness decks with elevated layouts, accurate product and technical information, and sales-ready storytelling.
• Deliver a monthly Trend Report covering color direction, print and pattern, materials and finishes, and product development trends.
• Translate trend insights into actionable recommendations that influence upcoming development.
