Job summary

Collins Aerospace is hiring a Supplier Development Lead to drive containment actions, supplier recovery, and capability building across global commodities. The role is hands-on and cross-functional, partnering with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Commodity Teams to implement structured improvement plans and monitor KPIs.

The position is remote with travel about 50% to supplier sites; a university degree with 8+ years of experience (or an advanced degree with 5+ years) and high English

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 5 years of experience.
• Ability to travel to supplier sites – minimum 50% of time.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead internal and supplier containment actions with Operations and Quality.
• Facilitate supplier kick-off meetings and rapid response actions.
• Conduct RCCA investigations to resolve critical quality or delivery issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to develop and implement improvement plans with clear plan reviews.
