DHL Supply Chain in Mexico is seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement Lead to optimize warehouse operations. You will drive Lean initiatives, lead Kaizen events, and use data-driven methods to enhance productivity, quality, safety, and costs.

You will guide cross-functional teams, implement 5S, Standard Work, and Visual Management, and train supervisors in CI best practices to sustain gains and support strategic objectives.

Formación

  • Lean certification preferred.
  • 5+ years in warehouse operations/logistics.
  • 3+ years leading continuous improvement projects.
  • Experience implementing Lean methodologies and managing KPIs.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and operational transformation.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics experience.
  • Kaizen, 5S, VSM, PDCA, Root Cause Analysis.
  • Time and motion studies.
  • Advanced data analysis in Excel/Power BI.

Responsabilidades

  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, service, safety, and cost reduction.
  • Analyze operational performance metrics to identify improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
  • Implement Lean methodologies and tools, including Kaizen, 5S, Visual Management, Standard Work, and Problem Solving techniques.
  • Facilitate Kaizen events and continuous improvement workshops with operations and support teams.
  • Design, document, and implement operational processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Monitor and sustain improvement initiatives to ensure long-term results and continuous performance gains.
  • Conduct time and motion studies to increase operational efficiency.
  • Lead root cause analyses and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare executive reports and present project progress, results, and performance metrics to management and senior leadership.
  • Train and coach supervisors and operational teams on continuous improvement methodologies and best practices.
  • Participate in automation, digitalization, and innovation projects within warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Transportation, and Human Resources teams to support strategic business initiatives.

Job Purpose:

Lead and drive continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse operations by identifying opportunities to optimize processes, productivity, quality, safety, and costs. Ensure the successful implementation of Lean methodologies, analytical tools, and operational best practices that support business objectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and promote operational excellence.

Key Responsabilities:

Who We Are Looking For:
  • Lean Certification, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading continuous improvement or operational excellence projects.
  • Proven experience implementing Lean methodologies and managing operational performance metrics.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing operational transformation initiatives.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Lean Logistics.
  • Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), PDCA, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Time and motion studies.
  • Operational KPI management and performance analysis.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, Power Bi and data analysis skills.
  • Leadership and ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Results-oriented mindset.
  • Project management capabilities.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Collaboration and teamwork.
  • Adaptability and change management.
  • Intermediate to advanced English proficiency preferred, with the ability to interact effectively with regional, global, and customer stakeholders.
