Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Cuautitlán Izcalli seeks an experienced WMS Project Lead to drive warehouse management system deployments, optimize processes, and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams across design, configuration, testing, and go-live. You will translate requirements into robust solutions and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong WMS experience, advanced SQL and Excel skills, plus familiarity with Power BI.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing and supporting WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced database management skills.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (queries, joins, subqueries, data validation, and data analysis).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead WMS implementation and optimization projects across warehouse operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams throughout the design, configuration, testing, and go-live phases.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional and operational solutions.
• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, risk assessments, and mitigation strategies.
• Lead project review meetings with internal customers, operations, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Participate in the design and validation of warehouse processes, including inventory management, receiving, order picking, and shipping.
• Perform data analysis through database queries to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), end-user training, and post-go-live stabilization activities.
• Prepare executive reports on project progress, risks, milestones, and outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and logistics process automation.
• Ensure compliance with organizational project management standards, methodologies, and governance frameworks.

Job Purpose:

Lead and coordinate the implementation, configuration, and deployment of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ensuring compliance with project scope, timelines, quality standards, and business objectives. Act as the key liaison between operations, technology teams, and customers, ensuring a successful transition of implemented solutions while driving continuous improvement across supply chain processes.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Experience implementing and supporting WMS solutions (Blue Yonder, Manhattan, SAP EWM, Oracle WMS, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, distribution, and supply chain processes.
• Advanced database management skills.
• Intermediate SQL knowledge (queries, joins, subqueries, data validation, and data analysis).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI or similar) is preferred.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies is preferred.
• Highly desirable knowledge of Inbound to Manufacturing (I2M) processes, including material flow management, inventory control, inbound logistics, and supply chain integration to support manufacturing operations.
• Advanced conversational English (required).
