GE Vernova seeks a Lead SCADA and Cybersecurity Engineer to drive design for Substation Automation and OT security across renewables projects. You will steer a design team, review vendor solutions, and ensure compliant, safe, on-time delivery.

You will coordinate with OT cybersecurity leaders, support FAT/SAT activities, and mentor engineers while traveling up to 20% for international assignments. Strong English communication is essential.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering discipline.
• 2 years experience in project security, OT environment preferred.
• 5+ years in Utility/Renewable/Industrial HV & EHV substation SCADA & telecom design.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity design.
• Solid understanding of ICS/SCADA and OT technologies.
• Experience with OT protocols like Modbus, DNP3, IEC 61850, OPC.
• Experience designing security controls for OT systems.
• Familiarity with OT network segmentation and security architectures.
• Knowledge of IEC 62443 and NIST/NERC CIP standards.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Willingness to travel 20% (international)

Responsabilidades

• Lead design for Substation Automation and SCADA systems across multiple sites.
• Coordinate with protection, site managers and commissioning engineers.
• Develop cybersecurity solutions for OT and IT aspects; review vendor designs.
• Prepare engineering estimates for SCADA and cybersecurity equipment.
• Act as SME for IEC 61850-based substations and related cybersecurity gear.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder reporting.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessment workshops and mentor junior engineers.
