Solera Corporation is seeking a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator for a remote role based in Mexico. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of SQL Server infrastructure across on-prem environments, with exposure to AWS.

This role involves mentoring junior DBAs and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize data platforms. Required 7+ years of experience, strong scripting skills, and a Bachelor’s degree.

Formación

• 7+ years in highly available SQL Server environments.
• Ability to automate repetitive tasks with scripting.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain high availability and reliability of the SQL Server infrastructure.
• Participate in the follow-the-sun support model.
• Build and implement new database infrastructure.
• Apply updates and patches to maintain a secure environment.
• Attend incident calls as per SLAs.
• Enforce security and compliance policies.
• Ensure adherence to backup and recovery policies.
• Coach junior DBAs to enhance skills.
• Collaborate with teams to optimize database infrastructure.
