This delivery-focused role requires leadership for a stable transition phase and future team leadership in Accounting Operations. The opportunity is part of a key transformation initiative within a global technology group.

Formación

We are looking for a hands‑on Transition Lead to support the integration of multiple Waygate Entities (soon to be part of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence) into Hexagon Global Business Services (GBS) organization in Monterrey.

The Role Has a Clear Two-step Evolution

• Lead the transition phase (end-to-end migration into GBS)
• Take over as Team Leader for Accounting Operations (General Ledger) once operations stabilize.

This is a delivery-focused role, combining transition execution with strong accounting expertise — not a pure project management position.

Job Responsibilities

• Transition phase (initial focus)
• Lead end-to-end finance transitions: planning, knowledge transfer, cutover, go-live, and stabilization.
• Coordinate process documentation, activity splits, workflows, and issue tracking.
• Ensure operational readiness: SAP access, banking setup, tools and data migration.
• Work closely with stakeholders across Finance, IT, Tax, and local entities.
• Ensure business continuity and smooth handover to GBS operations.
• Post-transition (future role)
• Team Leader General Ledger / Accounting Operations team within GBS
• Recruit and manage direct reports.
• Own month‑end close and reporting quality
• Drive process standardization, controls, and continuous improvement.
• Support audit readiness and statutory compliance coordination.

Qualifications

Profile (must-have)

• Strong SAP experience / HFM / OneStream (GL, month‑end close, transactions)
• At least seven years of experience in Finance
• Solid Accounting / General Ledger background in SSC / GBS environment
• Proven experience in finance transitions into shared services
• Hands‑on exposure to US based entities (multi‑country environment)
• Ability to combine execution + leadership potential.
• Pragmatic, structured, and able to operate in a fast‑moving integration context.

Nice to have

• Experience with multi‑entity transitions / carve‑outs / integrations.
• Knowledge of closing/reporting tools and data mapping
• Exposure to tax (VAT, federal, sales) and other statutory requirements
