The Coca-Cola Company in Mexico is seeking a Sr. Data Engineer to shape data flows across our enterprise. You will design and implement Spark-based pipelines, build REST-based microservices on the JVM, and optimize workloads on Microsoft Fabric and Synapse Analytics.

You will apply functional programming and SOLID principles, lead performance tuning for batch and streaming data, and contribute to scalable, cost-efficient data architectures in a fast-paced, global team.

Formación

• Strong Scala programming with functional programming concepts.
• 3+ years Spark experience building distributed applications.
• Experience designing data models for analytics.
• Experience building REST-based microservices on the JVM.
• Designing and transforming data with Azure data services (Synapse, Fabric).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop data integration pipelines using Apache Spark with Scala.
• Build and optimize distributed batch and streaming workloads in Microsoft Fabric environments.
• Perform Spark performance tuning, memory management, and partitioning strategies.
• Develop REST-based microservices and APIs on the JVM for interoperability.
• Apply functional programming and SOLID principles to clean, modular code.
• Optimize workflows for high-performance querying and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Maven, and SBT.
