In this role, it is expected to design, develop, and deploy integrated customer solutions and execution excellence to the project.

You will interact and guide presales teams in proposal generation and statement of work creation and partner with the customers to understand the requirements, and agree on deliverables, and acceptance criteria. Within the scope of work is also the execution of the development of solutions following the SW/HW standard processes to can be reutilized for other customers, seeking efficiency and margin growth within future opportunities.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Accurately identify customer needs and provide effort estimation.
  • Interact with customers, NI staff, external partners, and external suppliers in support of designing, implementing, and sustaining custom test solutions.
  • High-level collaborative design of integrated solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to development processes and standard methodologies.
  • Engage in the development of reusable software to be utilized by multiple projects.
  • Review work quality and mentor junior engineers.
  • Work with Project Managers to find efficient technical solutions to project challenges.
  • Responsible for technical deliverables for the given project.
  • Collaborate with the project lead on the design of the systems, workflows, and architectures that enable the future state to be achieved with the use of NI and NI ecosystem tools and offerings.
  • Guide the introduction of new systems and workflows to enable the customer's desired future state (business outcome).
  • Help with providing training, mentoring, and growing new talent in the EV Power Conversion, ADAS, VSE, and Electronics spaces.
  • Leads customer technical onsite tasks and helps advance opportunities.

Who You Are:

You will be accountable for providing SW solutions aligned with the industry's best practices, and use your business knowledge to help identify risks, challenges, and actively provide technical solutions. You will be motivated to work and solve complex solutions and will be thrilled and energized to persist until solving those shared high complex challenges.

For this role, you will need:

  • BS degree or higher in Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer or Electromechanical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in SW Development, system integration, and/or test and measurements industry.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices on designing for compliance with standards, safety, and certification for high-power panel design.
  • English proficiency (is a must).
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and experience working directly with customers, engineers, and business partners.
  • Ability to work optimally in a fast-paced, changing, and ambitious environment.
  • Problem-solve effectively - diagnose technical issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Take initiative, be a self-starter, and work independently.
  • Persistently drive tasks and lead projects to successful completion.
  • Quickly learn applicable technology, systems, and products.
  • Familiarity with NI products and platforms.
  • Availability to travel 25% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Understanding of ADAS, Automotive Protocols, and EV Power Conversion.
  • Automotive communication networks and protocols.
  • Familiarized with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
  • Knowledge in LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand, LabVIEW RT/FPGA, PXI/cRIO Platform, TextBased languages as C/C++, and Python.
