Job summary

Ria Money Transfer, a business segment of Euronet Worldwide, Inc., is seeking a Software Lead in Core Ria Systems in Querétaro to set the technical direction for backend services and full-stack components. You will lead a small team while remaining hands-on in the codebase.

You will own design decisions, drive engineering quality, mentor engineers, and ensure high-volume systems are scalable, resilient, and aligned with business needs. This role is on-site in Querétaro, Mexico.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on .NET/C# development building production services.
• 2+ years leading engineers in technical lead or senior roles.
• 3+ years designing REST/SOAP services and integration components.
• Strong experience with relational databases, stored procedures, ETL.
• Own end-to-end technical design and defend it in cross-functional reviews.
• Understanding of cloud-native concepts and CI/CD practices.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical design and architecture of core money transfer components.
• Lead a team of engineers day to day and ensure quality and delivery.
• Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and feedback.
• Set engineering standards for coding, testing, observability and docs.
• Partner with product, architecture, security to road-map technical goals.
• Own production readiness, monitoring, incident response, and post-incident follow-up.
• Design and implement RESTful and SOAP services and integrations.
