Responsibilities (Text Only)

As a leader:

1. Work with PM and Business stakeholders to understand requirements, translate them into technical requirements, and partner with our PMs to plan delivery commitments.
2. Provide thought leadership, creation, and execution on new platform capabilities.
3. Continuously evaluate our processes and reporting to identify opportunities to improve, enhance, and automate existing and new deliverables.
4. Collaborate with various functions at Microsoft to develop sound business tools.
5. Hire, manage, mentor, and coach a group of Software Engineers to ensure timely, accurate, and within-scope delivery of all sprint items.

As a manager, you will help your team:

1. Design, architect, implement, and support key datasets that provide structured and timely access to actionable business information, always keeping the end customer in view.
2. Develop a deep understanding of vast data sources (existing on the cloud) and know exactly how, when, and which data to use to tackle business problems.
3. Design efficient and standardized data structures and database schemas.
4. Develop high-performing and functional code.
5. Collaborate on delivering technical excellence across the organization.
6. Establish and operate data quality assurance processes.
7. Work with multiple client partner teams to implement cohesive end-to-end experiences.

Qualifications (Text Only)

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline AND 4+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated work experience combining people and program management skills. Data, business, and/or financial analysis experience.
• Proficient cross-group collaboration and business partnering skills.
• Problem-solving mindset that craves complex challenges and business problems under a fast-paced/changing environment.
• Proficiency in SQL (query writing, SSIS, SSAS); experience with C#, .NET, Spark, etc., is a plus.
• Proficient skills across the entire Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills and familiarity with DAX and Cube Value formulas for report writing; proficiency with Excel VBA is a plus.
• Experience and strength in building Power BI dashboards/reports is highly desired.
• Experience performing data and business analysis.
