Job summary

Aspen Technology in Mexico City seeks a Senior Software Developer to join the Manufacturing and Supply Chain (MSC) Engineering organization. You will design and deliver industrial software capabilities supporting planning, scheduling, optimization, production, and supply chain workflows.

As a senior member, you will own features from design through validation and help the team achieve PI objectives. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product and architecture partners, and champion

Qualifications

• Typically 5+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise or industrial software.
• Ability to design maintainable solutions and deliver high-quality production code.
• Experience with automated testing, code reviews, version control, and CI/CD practices.
• Strong English communication and collaboration across Product, Development, Quality Engineering and Architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and support robust and scalable software capabilities across the MSC product suite.
• Own the technical delivery of features from analysis to production support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine features and acceptance criteria.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices across the team.
• Work with SAFe events and participate in planning and demos.
