Nasdaq is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, customize, and support Calypso-based solutions for global capital markets. You will design integrations, build Java and R applications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver key projects.

The role requires strong Calypso experience, 5+ years in enterprise software, and excellent communication skills. The position offers a hybrid work environment in Mexico with in-office collaboration several days a week.

Senior Software Engineer, Calypso

We\'re looking for a Calypso Developer to join our team. In this role, you\'ll help build, customize, and support solutions that power critical workflows across global capital markets organizations.

What You\'ll Do

• Develop, customize, and support Calypso solutions for clients in the capital markets industry.


• Design and build integrations between Calypso and external systems using APIs and enterprise messaging technologies.


• Develop and maintain applications using Java and R to support business and operational requirements.


• Work closely with product, engineering, and client teams to implement enhancements and deliver successful projects.


• Troubleshoot technical issues, optimize system performance, and contribute to continuous product improvements.

What You\'ll Bring

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.


• 5+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise software solutions.


• Strong hands-on experience with Calypso in capital markets environments.


• Strong programming experience with Java and R , including solution development, customization, and integration work.


• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across global teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, Docker, and distributed architectures.


• Knowledge of messaging technologies such as Kafka, JMS, MQ, or ActiveMQ.


• Experience working with trading, risk management, treasury, or post-trade workflows.

This position will be located in Mexico and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment at least 3 days a week in-office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
