Job summary

Capgemini Mexico is seeking a React JS / Cloud-Native UI Developer to build modern, scalable web applications with exceptional user experiences. You will work with product, design, and backend teams to develop cloud-native frontend solutions using React and Next.js in a fast-paced, Agile environment.

You will focus on performance, accessibility, and seamless integration with enterprise services, participate in code reviews, and contribute to CI/CD pipelines to support cloud deployments.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, including SSR and Server Components.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for building responsive UIs.
• Experience integrating frontend apps with REST APIs and authentication solutions.
• Knowledge of web performance optimization, caching strategies, SEO basics, and WCAG accessibility.

Your Role

As a React JS / Cloud-Native UI Developer, you will be responsible for building modern, scalable, and high-performing web applications that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will work closely with product, design, and backend teams to develop cloud-native frontend solutions using modern React and Next.js capabilities. This role requires a strong focus on performance, maintainability, accessibility, and seamless integration with enterprise-grade backend services.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications using React.js and Next.js
• Build scalable frontend solutions leveraging Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Server Components, and modern data-fetching patterns
• Integrate user interfaces with REST APIs, backend services, headless CMS platforms, and authentication services
• Optimize application performance through caching strategies, code splitting, lazy loading, and frontend best practices
• Ensure applications are compliant with accessibility standards (WCAG) and SEO requirements
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers and backend engineers to deliver intuitive and reliable user experiences
• Participate in code reviews, testing initiatives, and continuous improvement activities to maintain high-quality standards
• Develop and maintain automated testing strategies to ensure application stability and performance

Your Profile

• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Next.js, including Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Server Components, and modern data-fetching techniques
• Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for building responsive and maintainable user interfaces
• Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs, backend services, headless CMS platforms, and authentication solutions
• Solid understanding of web performance optimization, caching strategies, SEO best practices, and accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-native deployment environments
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently in fast-paced Agile environments
