Capgemini Mexico is seeking a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and support scalable distributed systems using C# and .NET Core. You will leverage cloud-native patterns with Azure and AWS, build secure RESTful APIs, and drive resilient, observable solutions in an Agile setting.

The role requires leadership in engineering practices, strong problem solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

• 8+ years of backend software development using C# and .NET Core.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong cloud experience with Azure and AWS and serverless patterns.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET Core.
• Build scalable cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, asynchronous integrations, and event-driven architectures.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization using OAuth 2.0, JWT, and related patterns.
• Design resilient systems with fault tolerance, circuit breakers, and observability.
• Develop serverless solutions using Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
• Integrate applications via message brokers, webhooks, and asynchronous patterns.
• Apply SOLID, DI, and OO design for maintainable code.
• Build and support CI/CD pipelines, tests, and multi-environment deployments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize performance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, and stakeholders to deliver quality software.
• Participate in on-call rotations to monitor production environments.

Your Role

As a Senior Backend Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and support scalable, high-performance distributed systems that power critical business capabilities. You will leverage modern .NET technologies, cloud-native architectures, and event-driven patterns to deliver resilient solutions while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, technical leadership, and a passion for building secure, reliable, and maintainable software.

Responsibilities & Scope

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and microservices using C# and .NET Core
• Build scalable and highly available cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs, asynchronous integrations, and event-driven architectures
• Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using OAuth 2.0, JWT, HMAC, and industry best practices
• Design resilient systems incorporating fault tolerance, circuit breakers, retry patterns, monitoring, and observability
• Develop and support serverless solutions using Azure Functions and AWS Lambda
• Integrate applications through message brokers, webhooks, and asynchronous communication patterns
• Apply SOLID principles, dependency injection, and object-oriented design practices to create maintainable solutions
• Build, enhance, and support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment processes across multiple environments
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and optimize application performance
• Collaborate with Product Owners, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions
• Participate in on-call support rotations to monitor production environments and ensure platform stability and business continuity

Your Profile

• 8+ years of experience in backend software development using C# and .NET Core
• Strong expertise in multithreading, asynchronous programming, parallel processing, and concurrency models
• Hands‑on experience designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms and serverless technologies, including Azure Functions and AWS Lambda
• Strong problem‑solving, communication, and collaboration skills with experience working in Agile delivery environments
