Una empresa líder en tecnología de bienes raíces busca un Ingeniero de Desarrollo de Software Senior especializado en Big Data. El candidato ideal tendrá experiencia en Python y Java, y será responsable de construir pipelines de datos que optimicen el rendimiento del marketing. Además, colaborará con un equipo diverso para implementar modelos de mezcla de marketing y mejorar la eficiencia de las campañas. Ubicación preferida: Ciudad de México con opciones de trabajo remoto.

Formación

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en desarrollo de software.
  • Experiencia en la construcción de tuberías de datos utilizando Spark o Flink.
  • Experiencia demostrable en DataOps.

This team owns several data pipelines batch and realtime to ingest data from several internal and external sources to deliver necessary insights and data points. These data points are critical to build audiences that enable end user communication across various channels and networks. The team partners with various cross functional business units to gather requirements on data to enable campaigns and deliver analytics. Team also helps Data Science partners with model development and automation measuring success of campaigns using Marketing Mix Models.

About the team

The Marketing DE team is responsible for building and maintaining a data platform to support all aspects of Marketing. This includes reporting, creating audiences and measuring success of campaigns. About the role

The individual in this role will contribute to building data products supporting Marketing. Recently, the team delivered a Marketing Personalization platform, enabling marketers to deliver personalized messages through campaigns via sophisticated audience and content selection, and built a data platform to construct and implement a Marketing Mix Model to measure marketing campaign effectiveness and optimize spending.

As a member of this team, you will:

  • Architect and design batch and real time pipelines.

  • Deliver data pipelines to enable reporting, and build audiences for campaign executions.

  • Communicate effectively and partner with stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical solutions.

  • Work closely with Data Scientists to build MLops workflows

  • Leading implementation with a team of developers.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any of the 50 US States, with limited exceptions. In certain cases, an employee in a remote-designated job may need to live in a specific region or time zone to support customers or clients as part of their role.

This role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice which must be identified to the Company. Employees may live in any part of Mexico, but preferably in Mexico City, as we would encourage attendance for occasional in-office events.

In addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.

Who you are

  • 5+ years software development experience using Python/Java and experience building sophisticated data pipelines using Spark or Flink.

  • Strong experience with Python, SQL , Java, AWS and Databricks

  • A degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or equivalent work experience

  • Expert in establishing and promoting high standards in pipeline monitoring, data validation, testing, etc.

  • You have extensive experience in applying automation to data engineering (DataOps).

  • Passionate about data engineering/analytics and distributed systems.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and passionate about collaborating across organizational boundaries.

  • Comfortable distilling informal customer requirements into problem definitions, resolving ambiguity and balancing challenging objectives.

  • Excited about mentorship and coaching/onboarding/leading teammates.
