Role Overview

We seek a skilled Senior Android Engineer to lead initiatives, innovate, and uphold high coding standards. The candidate should excel in cross-functional collaboration, mentorship, and technical leadership, with a focus on building scalable, robust mobile applications using the latest Android technologies and architectural patterns.

Responsibilities

• Develop world-class mobile applications using modern Android technologies and architecture
• Contribute from concept to launch in full-stack mobile app development
• Implement client features and server APIs to support mobile functionalities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build engaging features
• Write performant, testable, scalable, and readable code following OO best practices

Position Details

This is a teleworker role, allowing employees to work from any location in Mexico with occasional travel to Mexico City for in-person events. Compensation includes a competitive salary, benefits, and potential bonuses or equity awards based on experience and performance.

Candidate Profile

• BSc/MS in Computer Science or equivalent, with 6+ years of experience
• Extensive Android experience (Java and Kotlin)
• Mentorship and cross-team design skills
• Familiarity with Compose, MVVM, modular architecture
• Strong performance profiling skills
• Fluent in English and Spanish; authorized to work in Mexico
