LexisNexis Legal & Professional seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead complex development initiatives and shape the architecture of our legal technology solutions. You will mentor teams, collaborate with partners, and influence strategic technical decisions.

You will design scalable data models, guide coding standards, and engage with customers to understand needs, while ensuring quality through rigorous reviews and best practices.

Formación

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Based in Mexico City or willing to commute to Reforma office.
• Expertise in data modeling, optimization, and scalable design.
• Experience with diverse teams and external partners.

Responsabilidades

• Act as technical lead and point of contact for external partners.
• Contribute to product design and architecture.
• Collaborate with customers to understand needs.
• Provide expert guidance on coding and technical issues.
• Write and review technical specifications and complex code.
• Resolve advanced bugs and performance issues.
• Design and manage complex data models.
• Mentor and support growth of other developers.
• Participate in cross-functional planning and execution.
