Empresa Confidencial is seeking a Senior Shipping Engineer to lead outbound shipping in a high-volume manufacturing and logistics operation in Guadalupe, Nuevo León. This role plans shipments, selects efficient transport modes, and drives continuous improvement across shipping processes.

You will develop daily/weekly shipping plans, coordinate with warehouses and carriers, monitor performance, and create SAP-driven shipment transactions and reports using SAP, Power BI, and Excel.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Transportation, Business, or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in shipping, transportation, warehousing, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP shipping or logistics transactions.
• Advanced Excel skills and Power BI experience for reporting and analysis.
• Experience with transportation management systems, ERP platforms, or shipment planning tools.
• Knowledge of truckload, LTL, air freight, ocean, and expedited transportation.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to time-sensitive situations.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with process improvement, cost reduction, and root cause analysis is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage daily and weekly outbound shipping plans based on customer requirements, material availability, and operational priorities.
• Select the most effective transportation mode, including truckload, LTL, air freight, ocean, or expedited services.
• Coordinate shipment execution with warehouse teams, carriers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor inbound and outbound shipments and proactively address delays, exceptions, and urgent requests.
• Create loads and manage outbound shipment transactions in SAP.
• Track shipment status and maintain accurate information across internal systems.
• Analyze shipping performance using SAP, Power BI, Excel, and other reporting tools.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly shipping reports and performance metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve delivery performance, transportation utilization, and freight cost. Support root cause analysis, corrective actions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Communicate proactively with customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and delivery commitments.
• Support standardization, documentation, and special logistics projects as assigned.
