Stellantis is seeking an experienced Seat Structures Design & Release engineer in Mexico City to lead the design, release, and integration of seat components and assemblies (front/rear structures, tracks, recliners, and attachments) and to manage the full product development cycle across concept, validation, launch, and production.

You will coordinate with CAE, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Supplier Quality; drive cost, weight, and quality targets; apply DVP&R, GD&T, and FMVSS/ECE

Formación

• 5 years of Seat Structures Design & Release experience.
• Experience with CAD, NX preferred.
• Knowledge of FMVSS/ECE regulations.
• Experience with DVP&R, DFMEA, GD&T.
• Experience with stamping, welding, and vehicle attachment systems.
• Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Experience with seat suppliers and manufacturing processes.

Responsabilidades

• Design, release, and integrate seat structure components and assemblies.
• Lead development activities to meet safety, durability, cost, weight, quality, craftsmanship, and manufacturability.
• Manage engineering deliverables through full product development cycle.
• Lead issue resolution to meet milestones.
• Drive cost, weight, quality, and timing targets.
• Support supplier sourcing activities, technical reviews, and tooling readiness.
• Lead prototype, DV, PV, and production build issue resolution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including CAE, Validation, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Supplier Quality, Safety, and Vehicle Integration.
