AgileEngine is seeking a Senior SDET in Puebla, Mexico to build and maintain Web and API automation frameworks from scratch. You will define the automation strategy within squads and drive quality across projects.

Requirements include 4+ years of SDET experience, strong Java, REST Assured, and Playwright expertise, plus a shift-left mindset and CI/CD integration. Fluency in English is required, with remote-friendly but hybrid work options.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an SDET Engineer.
• Strong programming skills in Java with a developer-first QA approach.
• Extensive experience using REST Assured for backend testing.
• Proven hands-on experience with Playwright.
• Deep understanding of shift-left and CI/CD integration for automation.
• Ability to work independently and provide technical quality direction.
• Upper-intermediate English level.

Responsabilités

• Framework Design: Build and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web and API layers.
• Strategy & Leadership: Define automation strategy and ensure high test coverage.
• Backend Validation: Create API automation suites for microservices.
• Frontend Validation: Implement frontend automation scripts for UX quality.
• Coaching: Mentor engineers on testing best practices and promote a quality-first culture.
