THE WORK

• Take full ownership of SAP user accounts, roles, and permissions, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient access across the system.
• Lead onboarding and offboarding processes, managing account creation, role assignment, and access adjustments with precision.
• Proactively monitor system health, implement patches, and manage upgrades to maintain optimal performance and system stability.
• Oversee SAP Transport Management and related workflows, ensuring controlled and documented movement of objects across environments.
• Serve as the go-to SAP expert for technical issues, handling everything from routine administration to system patching and upgrades.
• Collaborate closely with architects and stakeholders to optimize workflows, guide system design decisions, and ensure scalability, long-term system health, and smooth cross-team operations.
• Navigate system integration boundaries, including Salesforce, ensuring processes remain reliable, efficient, and aligned with organizational goals.

NEEDED EXPERTISE

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience as a senior SAP Administrator with consultancy or long-term project experience, capable of influencing system strategy and workflow design.
• Deep expertise in SAP security models, role management, and version management within public cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with system monitoring tools, performance tuning, patching, and troubleshooting complex issues.
• Proficiency with Jira for ticketing and case management, and Google Workspace tools for documentation and collaboration.
• Strong understanding of ITIL principles, change management, and SAP transport processes.
• Strategic, proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills, capable of planning system changes considering scalability, integration limits, and future team needs.
