Birdman is seeking a Data Scientist to join its Revenue Growth Management team. This role focuses on building statistical and machine learning foundations for commercial decision-making, including demand forecasting and pricing analysis. The ideal candidate has 2-4 years of experience in data science and strong proficiency in Python and SQL. Located in Guadalajara, the position offers opportunities to contribute to advanced analytical projects and utilize AI tools for enhanced efficiency.

Formación

• 2-4 years in data science, quantitative analytics, or similar roles.
• Hands-on experience building models used in real business environments.
• Experience in CPG, retail, eCommerce, or marketplaces is a strong plus.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain statistical and machine learning models.
• Develop and maintain Python data pipelines.
• Design and execute A/B tests and quasi-experiments.
• Perform data and model validation before stakeholder use.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards.
• Collaborate with strategy and commercial teams.
• Leverage AI tools to improve speed and quality of analysis.
• Document models and pipelines for reproducibility.

Conocimientos

Advanced Python (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, statsmodels)

Advanced SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimization)

Strong statistical foundation (regression, time series, hypothesis testing, causal inference)

Machine learning experience (classification, clustering, gradient boosting)

Experience building data pipelines and working with multiple data sources

Power BI (intermediate to advanced)

Strong problem-solving and structured thinking
