  • Support our North America Power Team in incorporating forecast model updates into their recurring long-term regional outlooks
  • Support the preparation of research reports, consulting reports, presentations, and client deliverables, in particular developing PowerPoint slides and Excel data sheets
  • Take a leading role in the publication of our annual US DER Outlook report and quarterly Grid Edge Quarterly Executive Briefing reports
  • Develop and maintain client-facing dashboards and support dataset integrations into Wood Mackenzie data platforms
  • Collaborate with our North American Power Team to incorporate load and flexibility forecasts into regional power models

Qualifications

  • A Bachelors degree in a social, physical, or environmental science, or policy
  • 5+ years of professional experience in the energy industry, ideally in a research capacity

  • A desire to spend your days deep in data, particularly data gathering and validation
  • Experience using AI tools to accelerate desk research
  • Strong written and spoken English language skills
  • Excellent time-management, including the ability to manage projects in parallel and to balance short- and long-term priorities

Nice to haves:
