Qualifications

• 4+ years of business analysis and requirements-management experience.
• Ability to interview stakeholders and facilitate requirements workshops.
• Experience assessing and rationalizing an existing reporting or analytics portfolio.
• Ability to translate complex business needs into structured requirements.
• Experience developing process maps, requirements docs, inventories and roadmaps.
• Strong analytical skills to identify gaps, duplication and simplification opportunities.
• Ability to work across business, technology, data and risk stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills to drive requirements through ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Develop a comprehensive inventory of reports, dashboards, metrics and artifacts.
• Research historical reporting to understand original business needs and use cases.
• Assess reporting for relevance, duplication, usability, and value.
• Identify gaps and reports that no longer serve a purpose.
• Recommend retention, enhancement, consolidation, replacement or decommissioning.
• Identify stakeholder groups and personas consuming or producing reports.
• Conduct structured interviews to capture objectives, needs and outcomes.
• Translate needs into defined business and functional requirements.
• Reconcile competing requirements and consolidate reporting demand.
• Maintain traceability between business needs, reports and outcomes.
• Develop a target-state reporting portfolio and a roadmap for transition.
• Define ownership, governance and standards for reporting and metadata.
• Establish a sustainable change-management process for reports.
