Elsevier Health is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions that support high-quality, scalable products. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate product needs into effective automation strategies, strengthen test coverage across systems and APIs, and contribute to reliable and inclusive software delivery.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering in agile environments.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end automated testing frameworks, preferably with Playwright.
• Experience testing APIs and microservices, including REST services and integration testing.
• Proficient in at least one programming language (JavaScript/TypeScript, Java or Python).
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and applying quality gates.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and support quality engineering practices across delivery lanes to ensure reliable releases.
• Design and maintain scalable automated test solutions, focusing on end-to-end testing using Playwright or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with engineering and product partners to define quality strategies and test coverage expectations.
• Validate features at the story level before integration to enable early defect detection.
• Ensure cross-team dependencies are properly tested to support predictable delivery outcomes.
• Integrate quality practices into the SDLC, including CI/CD pipelines and test data management.
• Continuously improve testing processes and automation to strengthen product quality.
• Mentor engineers on quality best practices and promote ownership.
