Job summary

Aspen Technology is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to join the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Engineering organization. You will define and execute risk-based quality strategies and expand automation across API, integration, and UI testing.

You will collaborate with Product Owners, developers, and QA peers to ensure quality through all delivery stages, mentor engineers, and contribute to PI planning with quality estimates.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software quality engineering for enterprise or industrial software.
• Experience designing test strategies and automated tests.
• Experience testing APIs, services, databases, and UI.
• Familiar with CI/CD, source control, and SDLC.
• Strong English communication and Agile collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze features and risks to define test strategy and coverage.
• Develop and maintain automated tests across API, integration, UI.
• Plan exploratory, functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to improve testability and acceptance criteria.
• Own quality activities from refinement to release readiness.
• Mentor engineers in testing practices.
