SENIOR QUALITY ENGINEER CS

IMPACT and OPPORTUNITY

Drive continuous improvement in quality systems and customer satisfaction through effective leadership, problem-solving, and team management. Act as a primary liaison with customers to resolve quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standards. Lead high-performing teams and leverage statistical tools and core quality methodologies to enhance product and process performance.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the resolution of complex customer issues through structured problem-solving methodologies (8D, A3, etc.).
  • Manage and maintain customer quality portals, ensuring timely and accurate responses to concerns, PPAPs, and other submissions.
  • Foster strong customer relationships by providing timely, transparent communication and ensuring a high level of service and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and mentor cross-functional quality teams to execute quality initiatives and meet performance targets.
  • Utilize statistical tools (e.g., Minitab) to analyze data trends, develop control strategies, and improve process capability.
  • Implement and sustain Core Quality Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) in compliance with IATF 16949.
  • Lead internal audits and support external and customer audits as required.
  • Drive the implementation of preventive and corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
  • Support the development and execution of quality strategies for new product launches and engineering changes.
  • Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the organization.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Quality, or related field).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in quality engineering roles in the automotive or advanced manufacturing industry.
  • Proven experience managing customer relationships and resolving escalated quality issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead high-performance teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong understanding and application of Core Tools: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC.
  • High proficiency in statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
  • Working knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills using tools such as 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Whys.
  • Experience with customer quality portals (e.g., GM, Ford, Stellantis, VW).
  • Minitab or another statistical software for data analysis.
  • Intermediate English level (technical reading and basic written communication).
