BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems in Mexico is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure components and products are manufactured in full compliance with specified requirements. You will apply knowledge of product and process engineering to improve supplier operations and reduce lead time, inventory, PPM, and manufacturing costs.

You will use Core Tools, ISO/IATF (IATF) standards, and statistical methods while training Quality Analysts and supervising their work.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Technical knowledge: automotive manufacturing processes, Core Tools, ISO/TS (IATF) & ISO 14001 systems, statistical methods, problem-solving techniques.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare the first and last piece release form.
• Prepare the process release form.
• Approve Poka-Yoke implementations.
• Provide training to Quality Analysts.
• Coordinate projects related to the quality area.
• Support APQP activities (Flow Diagrams, Process FMEA, Standard Work, Setup Instructions).
• Support tracking of SPC data, productivity, and quality indicators.
