Job summary

Dana is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer in Mexico to develop and oversee quality systems aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer requirements. You will drive quality planning during launches, lead complex investigations, and coordinate APQP deliverables with cross-functional teams to ensure readiness.

You will mentor quality professionals, monitor KPIs, and promote a culture of continuous improvement across product and process quality.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of applicable experience.
7+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee quality systems aligned with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and customer requirements.
Ensure robust quality planning during product launches and engineering changes.
Lead investigations into non-conformances using 8D, Fishbone, and 5 Whys.
Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Coordinate APQP deliverables including FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP submissions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product and process readiness.
Monitor KPIs such as scrap rates, customer complaints, and audit findings.
Provide technical guidance to Quality Engineers and Technicians.
Support training initiatives and promote a culture of quality.
