About This Role

We're seeking a Senior QA Engineer to join our IT department at our corporate office in Santiago, Chile. In this role, you'll be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to ensuring the highest standards of software quality.

This is a hybrid position based at our office in Santiago de Querétaro, Qro., Mexico.

• Collaborates in software design discussions, reviews, and test strategy sessions
• Responsible for performing risk and impact analysis and making recommendations for associated solutions
• Provides quality assurance estimates for resource and project planning purposes
• Executes system and regression tests
• Creates test data and maintains regression test suites.
• Apply solid knowledge of SQL and test management/version control tools like Azure DevOps
• Identifies potential process improvement areas, suggests options and recommends approaches
• Develop strategies to streamline and automate testing procedures during implementation phases
• Identify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or content
• Mentor junior team members on applications and job functions

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5+ years of professional experience, with demonstrated success in web testing and automation
• Good knowledge of relevant computing platforms and automated test tools
• Good knowledge of multiple department applications, subsystems, and functions
• Strong understanding of Quality Assurance methodologies, test design, and defect tracking processes
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and debugging skills
• Strong project and time management skills
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to work collaboratively across technical and non-technical teams.
• Commitment to maintaining a healthy and productive work environment.
