Goods & Services is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to design, implement, and maintain automated tests for mobile and web apps, with emphasis on Appium and Playwright. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on QA engineering with focus on test automation.
• Solid experience with Appium for mobile test automation.
• Solid experience with Playwright for web automation testing.
• Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
• Knowledge of testing principles: functional, regression, integration, end-to-end.
• Experience with manual/exploratory testing to validate behavior beyond automation.
• Ability to analyze results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects clearly.
• Familiarity with API testing concepts and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for web and mobile apps.
• Develop mobile automation using Appium for critical journeys and device-specific behavior.
• Develop web automation with Playwright across cross-browser testing.
• Create and execute manual/exploratory tests when needed.
• Identify opportunities to increase automation coverage and reduce manual testing.
• Analyze failures, perform root cause analysis, and differentiate app vs. automation issues.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to clarify requirements and report results.
• Support API testing including authentication, data integrity, error handling, and negative cases.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to assist test generation, automation, code review, and optimization.
• Document test cases, scripts, defects, and quality risks; pursue continuous improvement.
