Job summary

The role focuses on investigation, bugfixing, triaging, and feature work on the backend, with deep Python expertise and strong networking knowledge to push production releases.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend or systems software, strong Python skills, and experience in production support, debugging, and log analysis to support reliable endpoint

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend or systems software development, focusing on agent/client-side apps.
• Expert proficiency in Python, including concurrency and low-level system calls.
• Production support experience with debugging user issues and analyzing production alerts.
• Emphasis on readability and design over using generic Python frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend agents and system programming for high-performance endpoints.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Python-based backend integrations.
• Ensure software stability, reliability, and security on the endpoint.
• Create persistence, self-healing, and low-resource mechanisms for the agent.
• Support robust unit testing and integration testing for code quality.
