GlobalLogic Inc. in Mexico is seeking a backend/support engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance agents that run on customer endpoints.

You will build robust backend integrations using Python, ensure stability, security, and efficient resource use, and focus on production-ready code. The role emphasizes code quality, readability over frameworks, and collaboration with QA/DevOps to deploy and monitor agents across client environments.

Competenze

• 5+ years of experience in backend or systems software development, focusing on agent/client-side applications.
• Expert proficiency in Python (including concurrency and low-level system calls).
• Production Support experience, this is strong debugging of user issues and analysis of automated production alerts as related to server logs and the development code related to the requests.
• Experience with readability and design, rather than employing frameworks that happen to be in python.

• Design, develop, and test high-performance, backend integrations using Python.
• Ensure the software is stable, reliable, and secure.
• Develop robust mechanisms for persistence, self-healing, and minimal resource utilization on the endpoint.
• Strong Unit Testing processBackend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the core software features that run on customer endpoints.
• Integrate the software with the central cloud backend (APIs, message queues) and ensure data is transferred reliably and securely.
• Develop comprehensive unit and integration tests to guarantee high code quality and testability.
• Utilize and manage version control with Git (e.g., GitHub, GitLab) and participate in rigorous code reviews.
• Collaborate with QA and DevOps teams on agent deployment, monitoring.
