AgileEngine, LLC. is seeking an experienced Senior Backend Engineer in Guadalajara, Mexico, focused on database optimization and scalable backend systems. You will lead design efforts to enhance performance and handle high data volumes for revenue-driving features.

Responsibilities include data optimization, back-end processing, and building robust software with clean, modular Python code. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and event-driven design are key aspects of the role.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt for data transformation and modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Data Optimization and Database Performance: Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency, with a strong focus on query optimization, indexing strategies, and data architecture best practices.
• Back-End Data Processing: Build and maintain efficient, scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes, prioritizing the optimization of revenue-driving features.
• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• OOP and Clean Code: Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python.
• Collaborative Problem Solving: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable, effective software solutions.
• Event-Driven Processes: Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow, responsiveness, and scalability across systems.
