AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer focused on database optimization and scalable software development. You will lead initiatives to enhance database performance and build robust backend systems capable of handling high data volumes, particularly for revenue-driving features.

You will work with Python, Streamlit for Snowflake, SQL, Snowflake, and dbt to deliver high-quality, scalable software. This role offers flextime and the option to work from home or in the office.

Qualificações

• 4+ years of experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience building tools using Streamlit for Snowflake.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience working with Snowflake.
• Experience with dbt (data build tool) for data transformation and modeling.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the design and optimization of databases to improve performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Build and maintain scalable back-end systems to handle high data volumes.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications with an emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Write clean, modular code following Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles, with proficiency in Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into actionable software solutions.
• Design and implement event-driven processes to improve data flow and scalability.
