Corning Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Project Engineer to lead engineering initiatives that improve manufacturing performance, product quality, cost efficiency, and operational excellence.

You will drive the implementation of new products, technologies, and process improvements while providing technical leadership and coaching to teams. The role involves guiding projects from concept to implementation, applying root cause analysis, DOE, and Lean Six Sigma, and ensuring alignment with EHS

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and process engineering environments.
• Demonstrated success leading projects from concept through implementation.
• Green Belt certification or training.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience coaching and developing engineers or technicians.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Lead engineering projects focused on process, equipment, quality, capacity, and cost improvements from concept through implementation.
• Troubleshoot complex manufacturing challenges using root cause analysis, statistical tools, DOE, and Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Develop and implement sustainable solutions to improve process performance, reliability, and operational excellence. Support the introduction of new products, technologies, and manufacturing capabilities.
• Design, optimize, and implement manufacturing equipment and systems, including installation, startup, and qualification activities.
• Serve as a technical SME in process control, SPC, SQC, OEE, and continuous improvement practices.
• Coach and develop engineers, technicians, and maintenance personnel while contributing to technical roadmaps and innovation initiatives.
• Track project results through key performance metrics, ensuring compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards.
