Verkada in Mexico City is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for our Global Services division. You will lead post-sales deployments, coordinate with Global Services Manager and Territory Account Executives, and resolve complex technical issues across cloud security, IoT, and access control.

This on-site role requires you to travel occasionally and be based in the Mexico City office. You will mentor teams, train customers, and ensure successful deployments for large strategic accounts.

Formación

• 4+ years in Sales Engineering, TAM, Network Engineering, or PS with Fortune 500 experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• Ability to gain FedRAMP Compliance; US Citizenship or Green Card required.
• Strong networking skills and written/verbal communication.

Responsabilidades

• Be the subject matter authority on Verkada products and post-sales support.
• Act as project management arm for deployments in customer environments.
• Tune product features and provide vendor-led training to customers.
• Communicate with C-level to IT directors and sales teams.
• Develop service strategies with GS Manager and SEs; cross-sell where appropriate.
• Educate partners and customers on latest Verkada offerings.

About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Project Engineer in the Global Services division with expert experience in Cloud Security, IoT Systems, Networking, Linux systems, Security Surveillance, and Access Control. You will partner with the Global Services Manager and Territory Account Executives to service large and strategic customers within the Verkada footprint. In this role, you will interface with customers and partners on post-sales deployment project management, assisting with technical issues and providing expert-level configuration and training on Verkada Products. We need someone who will be highly motivated, able to learn quickly, and work independently while making an impact on the success of our Global deployments.

We are committed to a thriving in-office culture. This role requires that you be on-site 5 days per week in our Mexico City office when not traveling.

What You'll Do

• Be the subject matter authority on the full Verkada suite of products and offerings and provide expert-level service to customers during the post-sales process
• Serve as the project management arm for customer accounts, ensuring successful deployments of Verkada products in the customer’s environment
• Magnify the value of Verkada products for customers through configuring and fine-tuning product features, use cases, and analytics; provide vendor-led training to customers
• Effectively serve as the technical voice to all levels of customer, from C-level executives to loss prevention managers and directors of IT
• Work directly with your Global Services Manager and Sales Account Executives to develop services strategies and workflows for the customer, as well as participate in cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
• Be a Product Technical Evangelist in training/educating partners, customers, and internal employees on the latest Verkada product offerings

What You Bring

• 4+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Network Engineer, or Professional Services Consultant with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, IT Security, or similar field
• Ability to gain FedRAMP Compliance: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Strong background in Computer Networking: HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, firewalls, and software systems
• Outstanding written & verbal communication skills to efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partners
• Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
• Ability to adapt to an ever evolving workplace and company
• Genuine excitement for software/hardware products, Cloud Security, and IoT devices
• Travel up to 25%

Preferred Qualifications

• Industry certifications such as AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+
• Experience working with Linux systems
• Previous startup experience
