This Position reports to:
Senior Project Engineer

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Working with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive and deliver improvements.
• Creating work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the targeted cost.
• Coordinating with relevant functions to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
• Coaching engineering colleagues on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic or engineering.
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles as electrical engineer.
• Experience in MCC (Motor Control Center) Design and Electrical Power Systems.
• Understanding on Metal sheet Manufacturing.
• Experience on ISO9001 or any other Quality System
• Previous People Management/Leadership experience.
• Able to lead technical and leadership discussions in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Engineering Quality Focus.
• Management of Projects as Project Engineer.
• Demonstrated ability in analyzing and solving problems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
